Come kick back with us and enjoy great bourbon, live bluegrass, and finger-lickin’ good barbecue! Proceeds go towards restoration efforts.

This year guests will enjoy a barbecue dinner prepared by Future Champions Catering, bluegrass music performed by a live bluegrass band, and flights of bourbon. We will also be holding a live auction compiled of local antique, antiques from priv collections, as well as items direct from the governors mansion itself. Items have been graciously donated for auction by board member as well as the DAR. Guests will also learn about the mansion, current projects, and upcoming events. We hope you will join us for an evening of fun!

Guests may arrive during this time and select their seating for the evening.

Cocktail Hour 04:00 PM – 05:00 PM

Guests may purchase bourbon flights from the bar specially selected to pair with the evening meal. A variety of drinks and cocktails will also be available from the cash bar, graciously provided by Twisted Tree. During this time we encourage everyone to mingle and chat with each other and our board of directors and DAR members in attendance.

Restoration Recap 04:40 PM – 05:00 PM

During this time the Duncan board of directors will give a recap of our events and restoration projects over 2025 and also what events we have planned for 2026. We will also highlight the ongoing restoration needs of the mansion and our vision going forward.

Guests will be served a delicious BBQ meal expertly cooked by Future Champions Catering while enjoying the bluegrass musical stylings of a live bluegrass band.

Enjoy a variety of delicious desserts and don’t forget to get a refill at the bar!

Antique Auction 06:00 PM – 07:00 PM

Here is your chance to bid on antiques, some of which are from the mansion itself! Jess Spradlin will lead guests through bidding on the items we have available. See something you want, but not sure you can get it home? Speak to one of our auction representatives for delivery options.

What’s on the menu?

Guests may select one meat option, one side, and one vegetable side. Guests may choose between pulled pork or chicken, side of baked beans or macaroni and cheese, a side of green beans or corn, and cornbread. A variety of desserts will also be available.
